My Hilton Diamond has dropped off, and I've tried calling the GGL line twice over the last couple of months to get it reinstated but no one's managed to fix it - I figure it's easier explained over email.
I'd really like Diamond back for the week long stay I have at a HH next week.
I'm having exactly the same issues. I've called the GGL line 3 times and my details have apparently been added to 'their' spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet is periodically (every few weeks) submitted to Hilton for action.
I was told that my details were transmitted about four weeks ago but nothing has changed with my status.
I have emailed HHonors but all to no avail.
I've had three separate stays at Hilton properties since I was downgraded to Gold.
As Diamond membership is listed as a GGL benefit I believe BA should be more proactive by ensuring that Diamond status is retained whilst an individual maintains/renews GGL status.
