Fantastic report! Luckily there were some lingering cherry blossoms in Tokyo Heading out in NH F today, one of these days I'll figure out how to upload photos and write my own trip report, though of course it wouldn't compare to yours!

Did you try the Baron de Rothschild Blanc de Blancs or stick to the LP? I've never had the BdR but its pricing is more in line with what you would expect in F, as compared to the LP which is a business class Champagne at best. Very sad they are no longer serving Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill.
