Has anybody recently rented a car from any of the big rental companies (Hertz, Avis, Budget, etc.) in Israel or even in Jerusalem and could comment on the deposit they will authorize on the credit card?

I know this will depend on the car (planning to rent an intermediate station wagon) and the rental period, I'm just looking for a ballpark figure. I called all the rental companies and asked for details, however apart from ShlomoSixt, no company was able to provide more substantial information. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!
