We tried it but I don't know if I would have paid the extra $130 per night extra. The swim up pools are slightly cooler than the main pool. Which might be fine if the weather is very warm when you are there. We had some overcast days and the main pool is so warm that it felt better to be in there than outside the water or in the swim up areas. The swim up pools were just cool enough compared to the main pool that my group congregated to the main pool 90% of the time. If you have the extra $$ and want to splurge (or maybe a special occasion) than it's fun. But I could've probably had just as good of a time with a balcony and the little extra walk down to the main pool. You can't go real wrong either way. Just some thoughts.
