I would think that the FA's with the most favorable feedback either internally or from AS customers would get first shot at inagural flights.
I had some great service from FA's on the 737-900's when they first rolled them out. I thought it was due to the most senior and therefore most experienced FA's for those routes getting those flts. Warmed nuts in a wine glass? How often does that happen?
Carfield, I too would suggest you write a letter of complaint. Just because it was an inagural flight doesn't mean one should with hold complaints.</font>
One would think that this would be a good way to do it but performance has nothing to do with it. EVERYTHING regarding scheduling is based on seniority. The more senior F/A's get the best trips.
As far as the 737-900 goes, it's not a senior airplane, never has been. In fact, if you got warmed nuts in a wine glass I would guess that was probably a more junior person. Senior people are great but generally do the service as specified by the company so as not to set up the customers for disappointment on their next AS flight.
