I spend about $150K/year on travel (hotels, flights, cars), and just made the switch to Amex Gold. Kicking myself, as I have had AMEX plat for last 4 years, and have probably missed out on hundreds of thousands of points. The double points really add up. I will essentially earn two mini-RTW flights per year with the gold.
