On the rare occasions that I've needed to pick up a car at T5, I've switched my business to Avis. They're the only company with a depot actually located at T5. It's a vastly quicker process.
Noted; using Hertz points for a week free rental - otherwise would have used Sixt who are actually in the Sofitel across the T5 entrance
