At least you didn't wake 30 minutes after breakfast was served only to be told, "sorry, meal service is over." It's always a bummer to miss the meal, but sometimes sleep is the best nourishment.
AA breakfasts are passable to good in terms of taste and quality, but it's not like you missed brunch at the Ritz.
the FA was actually right... I am a big baby when it comes to flying and having a proper meal served to me. Yes, I'm a very old geezer, but whenever I have a meal on a plane, it's like I'm a kid again.
As for brunch at the Ritz-Carlton, I sure miss the all-you-can-eat beluga caviar and all-you-can-drink champagne during their sunday brunches.
