Yes, there is indeed a specific area for this which is marked "VIP" in white paint on the road, on the left hand side immediately in front of the terminal building. It is all the way to the very end of the T5 drop-off area, just after the last pedestrian crossing.

It's not like Virgin but at least it gets you very close.
