OP's post suffers from the run-on-sentence-itis of many 1-post posters shocked by some situation or other. However, OP does not make any comment about the second set of tickets costing more, just that the "same seats" were available. Given how much else was crammed into the post, one thinks that would have been mentioned if that was the case.
