Was this the same application you mentioned earlier in the thread?

Since this morning the online application status tracker has now changed to Application "In Progress" and to "Please check back on this site in 24 hrs".

I had called this morning to see if the fax had been received and the person (sounded like an Indian call centre) said it could be 24-48hrs for the next step. I have some vague hope of having my card by the end of the week!
