I never use OLCI with Hyatt. There's no meaningful advantage to the guest.
Only with Hilton and only if I can choose an upgraded room that I will be happy with.

At this particular property I always check in early (10 am) every Monday. They encouraged me to do OLCI to guarantee they will have a room ready for me which honestly is odd because this hotel is not a hot property, but I assume it's so housekeeping can prioritize turning over a room for me.
If I were staying there every week, I'd have a chat with a front desk manager about having a room ready for me each week at a specific time. Wouldn't rely on OLCI.
