Personally I would be looking at QR, CX or QF coded EK operated flights.

Plenty of QR deals out of the Nordics, and sometimes Italy and occasionally Germany. Keep an eye on the QR sales thread.

That distance in a BA CW seat would not be appealing, not forgetting the fact that you would have to position PER-SYD in order to take a BA service on the return.
