Hi all - new to Flyertalk. I am getting married later this year and wanted to share my honeymoon plans as my wife to be and I plan to go away RTW for 10 weeks.

We worked up to Silver last year to benefit from lounge access and extra luggage by flying One World for most of the trip.

I have been saving avios for a couple of years scraping them together in any way shape or form. As a newbie to the world of miles this is what I have put together:

LHR - SIN BA - First 119k avios (241 Amex) + £349 taxes each

KUL - HKT Air Malaysia - Economy £40 each

HKT - BKK Thai - Economy £32 each

DMK - NRT Air Asia - Premium Flatbed £304 each

HND - SFO JAL - Business 75k avios each + £40 taxes

(Driving West coast)

LAS - DCA AA - Economy £140

DCA - (CLT) - NAS AA - Economy £118 each

NAS - MIA AA - Economy £150 each

MIA - CUN AA - Economy £100 each

CUN - MEX Volaris - Economy £30 each

MEX - LHR BA - Club 32.5k avios each (Lloyds upgrade voucher) + £328 taxes each

Total cost: £1631 each + 334k avios (need to purchase extra luggage on a couple of legs which will add slightly to the cost).

Collecting avios has become an obsession but will be worth the effort I am sure! 2018 goals - get to Gold!
