I'm not sure about Best Western as my experience with them has been less than stellar (US only) but I thoroughly support the decision to stay outside the Hilton chain. It's pretty liberating once you allow yourself to stay at the best hotel for your needs that night instead of forcing a stay elsewhere just because it's a Hilton. Maybe consider keeping gold for the brekkie when needed and staying elsewhere for the other 15 nights. Recently I've been choosing my hotels based on age not brand. The newest one gets my booking...it's been working out pretty well and I've enjoyed the experiment.
