Indeed - and this also means that it makes no difference whether you go with QR, CX, QF, AY, JL etc. within OW if you want to bring more than 1 person into a BA lounge.

As I have not tried to bring more than one guest into any lounge apart from once at a BA lounge as a GGL (which I knew was permitted), I am not sure if any of the Star or SkyTeam lounges do, but hopefully the question will be answered by other members.

Of course there are questions well beyond lounge access that need to be asked, e.g. earn/burn ratio, before choosing a frequent flyer programme.
