Hilton v best western?

Had a family reunion and decided to stay over so we could have a few beers, this was in Peterborough uk .
Obviously there is no hilton here I tried the best western orton spa hotel just outside the centre of Peterborough and checked in late Saturday afternoon.
The point is as you guys know I'm very loyal to the Hilton brand, I've not stayed in another brand for around 3 years......I didn't know what to expect?, it looked nice on the website and it turned out to be great.......everything worked! , service was great, the spa was spotless and calm, the sauna was very hot like it should be, they provide herbal tea poolside , plenty of loungers, no noisy idiots.......I could go on!......basically everything was nice, bed comfy , room big and breakfast was very hot on hot plates, oh and very tasty too.
True no exec lounge and the 1980s decor was a bit sad but for £79 on a bank holiday was great value for money, I may post a review over on the relevant forum but I was impressed.......this hotel put some uk Hiltons to shame.....I'm tempted to status match ( they offered this ) , problem is all my yearly stays at around 35 just scrape me through to diamond......hmmmm .....agree/disagree?
