I know this must have been covered but I'm having trouble finding the thread. Is it OK to only use a Chase Ink only for 5x categories? I use it for telecom and to buy gift cards at office supply stores. (I buy about $5k Lowes and HD gift cards in a year and give them to my contractors so they can pay for materials without going out of pocket.) I just noticed they have eBay and Delta gift cards now, and am wondering how far I can push my luck. Of course there is no reason in my mind to use the card for 1x purchases since I can use Chase Freedom Unlimited and get 1.5x. Do they shut down cards for using them this way?
