I have to travel from Europe to the US this summer, and come back next year, in October. Of course, I can't buy the returning flight yet, so I figured I could buy the tickets now, with a returning flight in January 2018 (for example), and later on change the returning flight. I've found cheap flights with a (K) fare, which is supposed to have a 250$ change fee. I'm not so sure if this would work, specially because I'd be changing the returning flight from January to Octobe, which is a 10 month difference. Thank you.
