Hi,

Actually why not go to ebay and buy a new unlocked (make sure its unlocked) Sony Ericsson T68i triband for <$100 and get a sim in France?

I have a T68i (had it for almost 3 years now) and its a good phone...a little slow in terms of software speed but otherwise a good phone....IMO an easier phone to use than motorola tribands and better interface...Nokias are good too.
