I just came "home" from a short trip to Asia. Got greeted by the usual friendly folks: "speed it up" from the CBP, while trying to open my passport to the photo page. Then another agent (don't know what her job is, given you already had the form checked when you go through CBP) saying "you're welcome" loudly to everybody walking by, including me, though I didn't say "thank you".
But I guess I'll get used to being in the US shortly, and it won't be so draining.
Travelling is fun and exciting and life at home is just "meh".
