Stayed at this property around 2 weeks ago. For most visitors to Singapore, they may think the hotel is a bit out of the way with its Katong location (there is no MRT station nearby). However, the neighborhood where the hotel is situated in is quite interesting and offers a lot in the way of under-the-radar attractions.

All rooms (even the entry-level ones) are essentially of the same size but there are 3 room types with the nuances more evident when it comes to the amenities. Like thealphalion pointed out, you get free breakfast and late checkout for the rooms with tubs so I would recommend that for better value.
