Hello Jennifer,

I have found out that the best place to buy mobile phones in France is in a shopping center like Centre Leclerc or Carrefour. They always have a mobile phone shop on the premises and you have the advantage to be able to choose among different programs that many companies offer. Beware of the SIM-card prices as well as what the rates per minute are.

Another suggestion: why don't you buy yourself in the USA a new Tri-band phone? you would then have the possibility of using your phone all over the world and when in France, just change the SIM card for a local one.

I have been doing that for quite awhile and am quite happy.

If you want addresses in France, let me know. Important: will you be just in Paris or will travel around too? Public transport or car? This to know where to send you.
