No, it is all OWEs as well. I won't opine much here...I've done it in other threads and it gets rather heated, I'm in the camp that wishes it was more restrictive...but I suppose that will take us off topic.

CX's F lounges include F passengers, Cathay Diamonds (as well as occasionally invited VIPs), and all OW Emeralds, regardless of class of travel provided they're on a OW carrier.

Mate, the irony in this quote is Champagne is wine, and the $12 average price of wine you're quoting in the US includes Champagne! What you call "high end bubbly" (presumably real Champagne) in generally is not really possible to buy in the US much under $40 USD a bottle. Even if you're buying a bottle of well-made American sparking wine using methode chamenoise, which is just really a fancy way for saying secondary fermentation in the bottle, that won't cost under $25. It's good stuff but certainly not $12. The average number is deceptive, because of the large volumes of jug and box wine purchased distort the figures, and the only time I can see this number seriously quoted is by liquor distributors to chuck cheap bottles of wine on the shelves of liquor stores. Anyway, to each their own but I found this amusing. Champagne is most certainly wine!
