Hi! Sorry I didn't see your message. Looking at the date, it was when I was out of town.

Anyway on topic, the tri-star just seemed like "too much bag" for me. At its size, I would rather have just brought a rollerboard on. The Western Flyer is a more manageable size, where moderately packed I can keep it under my legs and still feel comfortable. Even fully loaded, it will fit under the seat in front of me, but kinda gets in the way when I move it under my legs after takeoff. Another positive is that I'm comfortable using it as more of an everyday bag when on travel, since it's just the size of a large briefcase.
