No, it doesn't work this way at CX, I can assure you. The retirement age is 55 and that's it, basically the only restriction.
And this aside, a lot of times I have found male CX FAs to be more professional than their female counterparts, especially within junior ranks, but I shall not generalize or stereotype.
That's interesting. How do they maintain a relatively young group of cabin crew?

The one time I noticed that not to be true was on AA to china where an african american FA who couldn't have been older than 30 was in F cabin, because she spoke chinese very well.
This might not be super relevant to the subject of the thread, but is general, is it easier to serve Y, or J, or F? Sadly, I've never flown CX F (or any long-haul F for that matter). J service is very nice but feels like an assembly line, and Y...well, Y is Y.
