And as there are no longer phone reservation fees, this is even simpler and the phone agent should be able to take care of it all in a single, pretty easy call.

If the son is underage, do allow an extra few minutes at the airport to check in and make sure everything is properly cross referenced, etc. Also keep a very close eye on the reservations in case of IRROPs to make sure you don't get split up inadvertently.
