The best kind of bump?
I was set to fly ATL-LGA one afternoon. I get to gate, and they are oversold and would I take a bump. I get some $$ and confirmed upgrade on the new flight (was waitlisted on original, with slim chance). Then, the new flight leaves BEFORE the original. Thats a good deal.
old flight : coach, full plane, late
new flight : first, maybe full, earlier arrival and Delta $$
