Already made a comment about this in the "help to check seat availability" thread but this is GGL related now.

Expert flyer says (BA269 LHR-LAX 18th Apr):

According to the first page, if the D bucket has availability, I can use a joker to open up a seat in the CW cabin.

Checked "upgrade with money or Avios" from WT+, and there's no availability this way.

Does this tell me I can actually open a seat up and then use a GUF?
