Not sure I agree with this. As noted upthread, stock has bounced back. Unless this causes a long term drag on the stock I don't see the shareholders booting Munoz.
Sure he hasn't handled this perfectly but I think he's has the best shot of actually fixing these structural problems that have been festering at UA for years. Sad to say it but I don't think any of us who have flown UA regularly over the past few years are truly surprised this happened - it was bound to eventually with the "customer is the devil" approach that Smisek infused for years. That rotten culture can't change overnight but I certainly have seen improvement this year compared to years past.
