CO used to fly from Ellington Field (EFD IIRC) to IAH, so a few miles longer than HOU-IAH.
Missed the free parking and especially the extra 500 miles as CO Silver back then when they cancelled the service.
We flew EWR-JFK in a helicopter once. I was too young to remember why but I will never forget the experience.
While not the same city (or state) there are regularly scheduled flights between ORD and MKE, even though they're only 75 miles apart straight up the tollway. I've heard of (and I think this thread documents) similar short hops around the LAX area.
