Shangri-La Paris has great views of the Eiffel Tower and Seine River. They have a Duplex suite with amazing views of both.

A couple quick tips to save you time.

Catacombs I'd recommend using a reputable tour company to avoid the lines. I've seen it exceed 3-4 hours as there's a limited number of people allowed in the catacombs at once. Also the Louvre look up the "secret" entrances (Metro locations and others) if you're going to go there, the main line outside can easily be 1-2 hours. Again a reputable tour company can also bypass this too.

The food ahh... so much good food and other things to do. Paris is great and as far as recommendations it really depends on what you're looking to do, what things you and your wife like.
