Yes, I had a feeling that routing would melt down BA's mainframe. If the NCL leg is a single then that's probably the best way to engineer a POUG, 48 - 72 after booking it, but you may need to call up to complete it. Also usual reminder to check UuA too if the fare allows it.
Thanks C-W-S the POUG offer came up litterally 48 hours afterwards, so I've now got lovely little trip for the day:
BA 777 Club Europe in 10K LHR - MAD
IB 346 Economy 52A MAD-LHR
BA 320 Economy 4A LHR -NCL with all of the lounge trappings in between!
