I will let you know this week. This is a hotel that is not very busy right now (YEG), so my plan is to check in Wednesday night, and check out Thursday morning. Then, book a room Thursday afternoon, and check in shortly after. Maybe slight over-kill but based on the above it sounds like I will get 5K points per night. Less than $100 USD for a night, +6200 status points, is a great deal IMO.
