I'm sorry I didn't want to go through 88 pages of information, and although my question was somewhat answered in the very first page of this topic, this was back in 2011 and I am juste wondering if it is still up to date.

I'm a *A frequent flyer based in YUL, but I recently experienced horrible customer service with AC, as well as a serious mismanagement from the airline (they made me wait more than 24 hours at YYZ for a flight to IND...). I am also a little tired of connecting at YYZ, I prefer going through US custom at YUL, as it is easier to connect after.

So I am considering switching to OW, as I feel my travels bring me to places that fit their network. I would just like to know which FF program is better for me based on my preferences!!!

(1) What is most important to you in a FFP?
(upgrades on travel, priority services when flying the airline, extra baggage allowance, good award redemption rates, better award access, free - discounted lounge access, etc.)
Reply: Lounge access, easiness to reach higher tiers, upgrades.
(2) How many miles do you usually fly each year & in what class? How many flights/sectors?
(<25000, 25000-50000, >50000 miles - <25, 25-50, >50 flights?)
Reply: I fly around 30-35 segments, though that is bound to increase in the upcoming years. mostly Canada-US.
(3) What types of fares do you usually buy?
(First, Business, Premium economy, Economy, cheapest)
Reply: When travelling for business, I fly Economy (though my company does not allow for the cheapest fare), sometimes Business. When I travel for vacations, it is always the cheapest economy fare.
(4) Can you choose your airlines and/or class of service? Do you travel for work and/or pleasure?
Reply: I can choose the airline, less so for the class of service. I mostly travel for work (90% of my travels).
(5) Which routes and airlines do you fly most often?
(US Domestic, Transpacific, Kangaroo, in Asia etc)
Reply: YUL-PHX/IND/RDU/NYC several times a year. But I fly once a year to DXB, HKG/SIN, LHR and ARN and more rarely YYC/YVR and YYZ.
(6) What is your home airport?
(SFO, SCL, London LHR, HKG, Singapore SIN etc.)
Reply: YUL
(7) Do you have FFP status of any kind in OW or other airline? What is it? Do you have any miles banked in a FFP?
(AA Executive Platinum, QF Gold, UA 1K, LAN Comodoro, etc)
Reply: AC Prestige 25. (I was going to reach 35k this year)
(8) Preferred Airlines? Most common Airlines flown on?
Reply: AC. Though I'm willing to switch.
