Flying through Southeast, the land side is the side to sit on. My first trip to the Great Land was about 15 years ago, in F on a SFO/ANC nonstop with no clouds the whole way, hugging the coast. Instead of getting it out of "my system", I have been back about 40 times. Lower-48 to AK is the only route in the world that I may choose a window.
