We flew Sri Lankan business class from London last February. I thought the seats were exceedingly comfortable - far better than our most recent experiences with BA and Virgin - and the entertainment system state-of-the-art. I hardly ever eat or drink on planes, no matter how long the flight, but my wife reported Sri Lankan Airline food to be the among the worst she's ever had. I must say it looked terribly unappetising - but then I always think that about airline food.
Pleased you enjoyed Galle, Londonjetsetter.
We are planning a return to the island next year. Resplendent Ceylon, which owns Tea Trails, are just about to open an ambitious new safari lodge in the Yala NP.
