We do travel a few times a year, but my Visa is 3% cash back on travel, and my Amex Plat is 5x points on airfare. I do have the Amex Everday (non-Preferred) card which doesn't get used at all, and I could use that instead of the Plat to earn MRs and shoot for the 20% bonus. It's weird, but I feel like I should be using the Plat because I'm paying the AF even though it's lower earning. Just a mental block to move past.
