as a Gold, you can book award space in the "extra" availability classes and also on "double Avios" Gold Priority basis for anyone you like, but they have to be on you HHA members or "friends" if you are part of a HHA - I have done this many times - but still no extra benefits transfer unless I travel
Not so I fear. Last month I tried by'phone to goldline to book us both using a 241 that my wife has, but there was only availability on the dates we preferred if I searched on my account. It was (or so I was told) impossible to use my gold availability and her 241, even though I would be travelling too. (and both in a HHA). Right or wrong it was refused, and I had to book, abd will waste a 241, unused.
