Damn this is a situation where I'd really like to trade some Aeroplan for MP (i.e. have someone with 30k United miles book me something, and I'll book them something in exchange), so that I can get the Copa flight I want.

But I assume that would fall under the "barter" part of the terms and get me into trouble.
