Umm. Central Oregon is expecting tens of thousands of people. Crappy motels that usually rent for $60-80 now rent their rooms for $1000+ (and some apparently cancel those reservations that were made before the owners realized the opportunity they have for a few days this year).

For those flying in to an eclipse zone airport, I would also be concerned about ground transportation (rental car availability).
Just checked; UA still has their regular CR2s flying to RDM from SFO the days before and after the eclipse.
Wonder if they could actually easily upgauge to anything beyond what Skywest flies. E.g., if they were to fly an Airbus up from SFO, would be ground staff be able or allowed to handle it? If yes... hey, if there's some slack in the 747 schedule, I have a brilliant idea
