Just booked two one way mileage tickets CGK-NRT and NRT-DLC

i am assuming JAL will allow me to check luggage through (Unlike BA) , I am entering Dalian on the 72 Hour Visa , I have booked my onward flight to Hong Kong direct with Air China 48 hours later so fully comply with the regulation

My question is do i notify JAL by email or telephone or will it be ok at Check in ?
