I booked a stay at the Sheraton Saigon this week for myself and a colleague, reservation was under my name and I paid for both rooms using my credit card.

Looking at my SPG account, I only received stay credits for my stay, not for my colleagues stay - is this correct?
I was under the impression that if I book and pay his stay, I should be receiving stay credit for his nights as well?
Normally this is correct, but could the colleague have given the hotel a SPG number? Some hotels have even tried to convince the additional guest to open an account in such circumstances, but regardless if both rooms were booked as a single reservation under your name, you stayed in one room, and you paid for both rooms, you should get points/nights/stay credit for both rooms.

If you have the folio showing both rooms, submit it by email to SPG research.
