Using Companion Pass after ticket booked
(newbie CP question) I have a flight booked in June for 4 people. I've earned enough points this year that I should be receiving my CP by the end of April.

Am I able to remove 1 person from the PNR and then re-book using the CP (assuming there's an open seat)?
