Not sure if my question fits into this thread, please move to correct one if necessary.

I booked a stay at the Sheraton Saigon this week for myself and a colleague, reservation was under my name and I paid for both rooms using my credit card.

Looking at my SPG account, I only received stay credits for my stay, not for my colleagues stay - is this correct?
I was under the impression that if I book and pay his stay, I should be receiving stay credit for his nights as well?
