Good to see you back in the air, Carfield. I flew Air Baltic's CS300 AMS-RIX last month and thought it was pretty nice. I also lugged my 22" roll-a-bord over from my KLM flight (a Fokker 70 into AMS) and had no issues from the gate agents when I took it onboard with my daypack.
My favorite regional jet remains the BAe-146/Avro85 family. Sadly, they're on their last legs with most carriers these days but I sure had some comfortable flights on those birds.
