Santa Fe is listed under both F4 and L, which seem to be mostly the same thing. It depends on what the trim level was, but I would say no, not a downgrade.
It was a base trim Sport -- so I think ~$25K MSRP versus ~$34K MSRP 4runner... know that's not dispositive but still disappointing.
