And yah, I can see how if you're shorter your experiences/feelings could differ. I personally like the forward/rearward facing IPTE C seats. Yah the middle 2 on the 777 is a little "really?", but those are the last sold, or go to upgrades (in most instances). The D1 product I just find...middling. Mind you, I would also term Polaris that, in current terms. Getting rid of F, with United presence in the very markets that there is demand, is a mistake, IMO. Call it employee class, call it J+, but there's no denying the halo effect a new F product can bring (a point brought up by a respected FT user, that i agree with).
PM CO did indeed have angled beds. The entire 777 fleet had them in BF. Spent many hours in them as they were better then the NW new WBC of the era. (What the A330 came with) The 767 fleet had the lounger chairs close to what was on the NW DC10. The 757 fleet was the normal 757 type lounger.
