If you're travelling at the end of the year, no point in looking at going via LAX/SFO to get the Spaceseat as refurbishment of the 773's are due to be completed by November, meaning all 772, 773, and 789 will have the more conventional Zodiac seat.
I personally think PE is worth the extra $700 due to the points mentioned previously.
