You and your teens will be fine at the Ocean Club
IIRC, there is a shuttle that runs between it, and the other Kaanapali resorts, to Lahaina. I suggest taking that instead of driving as parking in Lahaina can be horrendous. The teens will probably enjoy the excursion.
